“Gemini AI: Redefining the Power of Android Assistance”

Today in the unprecedented times of the Galaxy Note 10, we have announced some new features that make Gemini even more helpful, personalized and accessible on Android devices. What’s new for Gemini, find out here.

Use images, videos, and files with Gemini Live

Gemini live1 allows you to have natural, free-flow conversations with your partner. It’s especially helpful when you need some hands-on help to discuss ideas, organise your thoughts or simplify complex topics.Since Gemini live is designed to work with Android, it’s easy to start a conversation about whatever you’re doing on your phone. And from today, Gemini life is becoming more versatile, so you can share pictures, spread the word and add YouTube videos.

Gemini Live is launching today on Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25 Series and Pixel 9 devices along with images, files and video conferencing. In the coming weeks, we’ll launch it on more Android devices as well. Also, in the coming months, we’ll bring projector capabilities like screen sharing and live video streaming first to the Gemini mobile app on Android and Samsung Galaxy S25.

Expand Your Reach with Extensions”

With extension 2, Gemini can already help you complete tasks on your phone with apps like YouTube, Google Maps, Gmail and Spotify. Starting today, Gemini can also help you with other Samsung apps including Samsung calendar, notes, reminder and Ghadi on your Galaxy S25 phone. And now you can ask Gemini to use any extension in a single prompt.

For example, if you are looking for some high-protein launch items, you can ask for some recipes from Gemini and then easily serve them in direct notes on Samsung Notes or Google+. Multi-extension prompts are now available to all Gemini users on the web, Android and iOS.

“Discover New Paths to Gemini”

We’re making Gemini even more accessible on the Galaxy S25 device. Just press on what I said for a long time and Gemini will be there to help you or answer anything that’s on your screen. Plus, later this week we’ll start providing in-depth research access to the Gemini mobile app for advanced utilities, allowing you to avoid doing heavy research while walking. We’re working hard to make Gemini a more helpful mobile assistant, and we can’t wait to bring it to work on your Android devices.
