Mahindra Group’s chief Anand Mahindra shared a video of the concert of the prestigious British band Coldplay’s in Ahmedabad and praised the venue for keeping India ahead in the matter of live entertainment. The airy spectators of the concert in Gujarat have created a stir on social media, with thousands of spectators present at the Narendra Modi stadium.

“That’s when the world comes to know that India is a new field of live entertainment. Koldapalli. Ahmedabad,” he said while watching videos of crowds singing the band’s popular song Parade.

The comments were filled with admirers who were amazed by the disbelieving crowds of fans who had come from across India to watch the band’s performances.

The band will once again be performing on location and the show will be streamed live on Facebook+ Hotstar in India on the occasion of Republic Day.

During the concert, Martin encouraged fans to stay away from their phones. “Your phone is in your pocket, your hands are in the sky,” he said.

There have been reports of large-scale black marketing of concert tickets. Over 3,800 police personnel have been deployed along with a special contingent of the National Security Guard (NSG). “Besides, over 400 CCTV cameras have been installed to ensure round-the-clock surveillance in and around the venue.
