“Sutherland Shines: Historic Pink-Ball Century Lights Up MCG”

Annabel Sutherland once again etched her name in the record books, scoring her third Test century on day two of the MCG Ashes Test

In her sixth test match, Southerland has achieved the feat of defeating son Wilsan and Jill Kenare in the matter of taking the most female test shots by an Australian woman.

He achieved this feat on Friday in 193 nodes between the second floor, in which he took full advantage of the two livelihoods due to the poor fielding of England.

Earlier, Sutherland scored her maiden Test century 18 months ago against England at Trent Bridge, where she scored 137 batting at No. 8. Eight months later, the Victorian came up big again at the WACA Ground.

After getting promoted to No. 6, Sutherland scored a brilliant 210 against South Africa.

Coming into this historic day-night Test at the MCG – the first women’s Test at the iconic Melbourne venue since 1949 – Sutherland had a poor outing with the bat through the white-ball leg of the multi-format series, scoring 54 runs in six innings with her highest score being 18.

But when given the chance to wear the white jersey at the MCG in his hometown, Sutherland made the most of the opportunity.

He came to midday late the first day – due to concern about a fall on the Elees tree he was demoted to third place – and reached the stamps safely on the 24th.

Returning to the sunlit stadium on Friday afternoon, England had a chance to bring back the 23rd year old solarium early.

He left some room for a daily routine on the 29th at a gang of echelons, and again on the 31st when Emme Jones lost a difficult opportunity behind the stamps.

Southerland completed his half-century on 107 balls approximately 90 minutes after the game resumed and had scored 71 runs by the tea break.

After going through a difficult period at the beginning of the second season, where his Natalee Sevar-Brant kept him calm, Southerland lost his place reaching the score of 80.

This two handed batsman reached runs from 86 to 99 in seven games which included Teen Chauke, then they had to wait for some time for the drinks break and the team’s partner Moonee maintained the strike till the next over.

Before putting a kiss on Sophie Ekleston’s penis, Southerlandian faced two more dot balls, took off his helmet and signaled his family present in the crowd.

As a die-hard Geelong Cats supporter, and given his family’s strong ties to cricket, Sutherland spent a lot of time in the stands at the MCG while growing up.

But ahead of the Ashes, he told cricket.com.au that nothing could compare to the opportunity to wear the baggy green on the hallowed ground.
